Happy Birthday to us!

On April 3, 2017 Farmer Scott Ozete Robinson & Schmitt LLP opened our doors for our first day of business. Birthdays are always an opportunity to reflect on history and look ahead to great things to come. In the last 3 years….

We have opened almost one thousand new matters. In other words, we have assisted with over 1000 legal issues such as estate planning, business formation, litigation, loan transactions and real estate sales.

We have employed 7 college students through our college internship program. Every semester we employ a local college student, providing them the opportunity to learn about legal careers.

We have grown. We remodeled our offices in 2019 to make room for Jamie Dameron, our environmental lawyer who relocated from Texas.

Our attorneys have been recognized as Super Lawyers (Terry Farmer, Beth Burger, Andy Ozete), Rising Stars (Lindsay Schmitt), Evansville Courier and Press 20 under 40 (Lindsay Schmitt), Best Lawyers in America (Terry Farmer and Laura Scott), Distinguished Barrister (Andy Ozete) and ANEW Woman of Action (Laura Scott).

We have provided leadership to the legal community through Dan Robinson’s service as Evansville Bar Foundation Vice-President, Andy Ozete’s service as Vice President of the Evansville Bar Association and Chair of the Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Council of the Indiana State Bar Association, and Lindsay Schmitt’s chairmanship of the Evansville Bar Association Estate and Business Planning Institute and Indiana State Bar Association Agriculture Law Section.

We have presented seminars and written blog articles to help families and business professionals stay informed on legal topics. We have sponsored charity events and served on charitable boards to keep southwestern Indiana a great place to live and work.

We have over 2,800 clients who come to us for assistance with business and personal legal issues and we take our obligation to you seriously. During these unprecedented times we are especially thankful for your friendship and partnership over the past three years. We continue to be available to assist you with your legal needs, even while we may be working from home. We look forward to working with you again this year and hope you and your business and family are staying healthy.
