Financing Statement Fees Increase In Indiana

Creditors filing financing statements on debtors located or organized in Indiana under the Uniform Commercial Code should take note that fees for filings and searches have recently increased. Filing of financing statements and amendments for secured transactions and lien search histories are obtained from the Indiana Secretary of State’s Office. As of January 1, 2020, fees for filing a financing statement or an amendment have increased to $14.00. Fees for an information request on a debtor have increased to $12.00.
