Clients involved in litigation benefit from my diverse experience. I have litigated numerous civil actions before state and federal courts, administrative agencies and arbitrators, with a particular focus on labor and employment law and tort law. I have drafted hundreds of pleadings, including federal and state appellate briefs, summary judgment motions and responses, as well as discovery materials that often accompany these cases. Litigation can be stressful, and I use my years of experience to guide clients through these often complex, and sometimes emotional, matters.
I also advise corporate clients on general business matters such as business formation and dissolution, contract negotiation and review, and employment law matters.
Estate planning requires advice tailored to the specific needs of the client. As a former teacher, I recognize the importance of understanding your unique situation and wishes and, particularly, your desire to plan for the stability of your children and other loved ones. Estate planning documents need to be customized to you, and I focus on building relationships so that I fully understand your estate planning and wealth transfer goals.
