Dan Robinson Elected to University of Evansville Board of Trustees as the Alumni Elected Trustee
Dan Robinson has been elected to the University of Evansville Board of Trustees as the Alumni Elected Trustee. Robinson previously served as a board member and past president of the UE Alumni Association and has been an adjunct instructor at UE.
Robinson is a former University of Evansville student athlete (baseball) and graduate, having earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2004. He earned his Juris Doctor, Magna cum Laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2007.
Robinson is a founding partner and attorney with Farmer Scott Ozete Robinson & Schmitt, LLP, where he primarily advises businesses and business owners in connection with start-up and entity selection issues, business acquisitions and sales, real estate transactions, contract review and negotiations, and shareholder agreements, including buy-sell and share restriction agreements. He also handles business and commercial litigation cases in state and federal courts.
In addition to his endeavors with the University of Evansville, Robinson has also served as a board member and past president of the Evansville Bar Foundation, a board member of Warrick Trails, Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ohio Valley, and an advisory board member of the Southwest Indiana Small Business Development Center. He currently serves as a member of the Evansville Bar Association Bench and Bar Committee and CLE Committee and has previously served as the Co-Chair of the EBA Law Day Dinner Committee, the EBA Law Day Student Lunch Committee, as well as a member of the EBA Editorial Board. He also provides pro bono legal services to several non-profit organizations and charities in the area.
Robinson was included in the 2024 and 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in America, was selected as a 2022 Indiana Super Lawyers – Rising Star, was featured as a recipient of the 2015 Evansville Business Journal 20 Under 40 and has maintained a Martindale-Hubble Distinguished Attorney rating. He is admitted to practice in Indiana and Illinois and is a member of the Indiana Bar Association and the Evansville Bar Association.
