Scott Admitted to Practice Before U.S. Supreme Court
Farmer Scott Ozete Robinson & Schmitt, LLP attorney Laura A. Scott was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court in a ceremony in November 2024. After Chief Justice John Roberts accepted and granted the motion for admission, Scott took the oath for admission in front of each of the nine U.S. Supreme Court Justices. Scott was admitted before the high court as one of ten Indiana attorneys and judges organized by the Indiana State Bar Association. In addition to the admission ceremony, the group also attended a meet and greet with Chief Justice Roberts and then heard a live oral argument before the U.S. Supreme Court. “The experience was amazing and a once-in-a-lifetime moment,” said Scott. “Being in the highest court in the nation, in front of the top judges in the United States, I was definitely a little starstruck.” Congratulations to Laura Scott on this achievement!
