Scott Elected President of Risk Management Association

Managing Partner Laura Scott has been elected to serve as President of the Board of Directors of the River Valley Chapter of the Risk Management Association. The Risk Management Association is an international professional association serving the financial services industry. RMA has more than 1600 financial institution members of all sizes, from multi nationals to local community banks, with 41,000 individual members in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. The River Valley Chapter is very active, hosting education and networking events throughout the year.

Laura’s financial institutions practice includes assisting with transactional, creditors’ rights and electronic payment issues. In her business practice, she helps businesses manage risk when buying or selling, entering into new contracts, and protecting what they have worked hard to build.
