Woman Leader in the Law – Laura Scott

Laura Scott has been selected as a 2023 Woman Leader in the Law by The American Lawyer. This selection is based on Laura’s AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell. 

Laura helps clients manage risks when starting a business, buying or selling a business, entering into a new contract or protecting what they have worked to build. Her practice areas include banking and financial institutions, business and commercial transactions, employment, manufacturing, and real estate.

To highlight a few of Laura’s leadership positions, she is currently the Chair of the Impact EVV Foundation and is a Board member of the Evansville Bar Foundation and the Risk Management Association. 

Laura is active in the charitable community and in the legal profession. She is a past President of the Evansville Bar Association, the Vanderburgh Law Library Foundation, and the Risk Management Association.
