FSO Attorneys Participate in Seminar

Earlier this month, FSO Legal attorneys Laura Scott, Jamie Dameron and Andy Ozete along with other members of the Evansville Bar Association participated in an event with keynote speaker Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steven David. The EBA Women’s Section and the Diversity Committee created an afternoon of presentations and interaction where local attorneys learned about gender inequality and how to disrupt unconscious biases that we all have. Justice David provided insight into the State of Women in the Law and set the stage for the attorneys who performed in skits of real-world situations. After each skit, attendees discussed solutions for gender inequality in the practice of law. After three hours of learning together, the group ended the day with more discussion during a social hour and with many thanks, including a few awards for skit actors.
