Scott Named Chair of Impact EVV Foundation

Farmer Scott Ozete Robinson & Schmitt LLP partner Laura Scott has been named chair of the newly-created Impact EVV, Inc., a foundation dedicated to supporting greater Evansville region community development initiatives, enhancing the region’s quality of life, strengthening its educational institutions, and engaging the region’s young professionals to develop its next generation of leaders. Impact EVV, Inc. works hand in hand with the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership, Inc. (known as “EREP”).

Laura Scott is a partner with the firm, admitted to practice in Indiana and Kentucky. She works with business clients to help them manage risks when buying or selling a business, entering into a new contract, or dealing with employee issues by advising them on common pitfalls and offering possible solutions. When issues arise that cannot be resolved through negotiation, her courtroom experience helps enforce client rights.
